Boze is a Maui-born tattoo artist and the founder of Pride Ink. He has tattooed professionally since 2005.

His documented practice centers on custom freehand Polynesian work and Asian-inspired compositions. Each piece develops through direct conversation with the person who will wear it, with attention to placement, scale, and intention.

The studio

Pride Ink Maui

Established on Maui in 2005, Pride Ink is the setting for Boze’s custom practice and consultations.

The studio’s approach is personal and direct: listen first, establish the scope of the piece, then develop a composition for the body rather than select one from a catalog.

The process

A clear path from idea to session.

An initial request begins a conversation. It does not confirm an appointment, availability, or quote.

  1. 01

    Share the idea

Describe the placement, scale, visual direction, timing, and what matters to you about the piece.

  2. 02

    Consult with Boze

Talk through the concept, body placement, scope, and the most appropriate direction for the work.

  3. 03

    Develop the composition

The design is shaped for your body and refined through direct conversation.

  4. 04

    Confirm the session

Once the direction is clear, the studio confirms scheduling and practical appointment details.

Next step

See the work, then start the conversation.
